About

Global Communicators and Warning Network, Inc. aka GLOC 215, is a civic organization engaged in public assistance particularly during disasters and natural calamities. Most of our members are two-way VHF radio enthusiasts who are trained for medical and rescue assistance to help the public should emergency situations strike in places where we are present. 

Founded in California, U.S.A. by radio enthusiasts and former officers of various Civic-Communication Groups in the Philippines, Our main theme is to augment our network and capability, we developed partnerships with government units and other government agencies. Just recently, our group have received awards and citations from various local government units, and municipal, provincial, regional disaster councils, and was recognized during the Gawad Kalasag Award by the Office of the Civil in Region 6.

Presently, we have existing VHF Repeaters in various chapters in the provinces and in other parts of Luzon, Western Visayas and Northern Mindanao, were already made available for use by RDRMMC and affiliates during disasters and other national emergencies.

Our Mission

  • Shall maintain suitable communications for the benefit of the community; and when requested, to assist civil authorities
  • To Protect Communities by coordinating and integrating all activities necessary to build, sustain and improve the capability
  • To promote safer and, less vulnerable with the capacity to cope with hazards and disasters.
  • To mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and man-made disasters
